Step inside a 200-year-old farmhouse – a beautiful place to stay and relax, all year round.
Sol y sombra
Enjoy the pool, find a shady spot in the garden, stroll in the orchard – there’s always somewhere to relax.
Cool off in the crystal waters of the 10m X 5m tiled, solar-heated pool.
The pool sits within a large gated terrace with sun loungers for 10, umbrellas, a large shaded area and shower. There are balls, noodles and floats for children.
Garden and terraces
Step outside onto the terraces surrounded by olive trees, flowers and bamboo – it’s the perfect place to dine, with stunning views of the mountains.
Lie on the extensive, soft lawn and drift off – or sit and stargaze once the sun has set.
The beautiful alberca was once filled with water from melted Sierra Nevada snow, used for watering the land in days gone by.
Today it’s an oasis of calm filled with plants where you can relax, read and cool down in the dappled shade.
Escape to the orchard and pick fruit for homemade lemonade, juice at breakfast or plump figs – when in season, of course.
Almond Hill House has over 100 trees from lemon, orange and lime to almond, fig and pomegranate.
The Olive Hut
Nestled between olive trees and oleanders, and away from the house, The Olive Hut is where you can find space to do your thing.
The 40 sqm wooden hut is the place to go if you enjoy yoga, meditating, playing table tennis or singing very loudly.
